As this post is written, Amy Hung is tied for second following the second round of the U.S. Women's Open. A native of Taiwan, Amy now lives in Las Vegas where she works with instructors at the Butch Harmon Academy.
Amy has been a member of the LPGA Tour since 2004, improving each year. In 2004 she finished 118th on the money list, in 2005 82nd, in 2006 70th. So far in 2007 she has made the cut in 7 of 12 tournaments, with a high finish of 10th, and stands 57th on the money list.

Former "Big Break" competitor Kristina Tucker is one of the golfers teeing off in the U.S. Women's Open, which is starting just as I'm writing this. Tucker is playing on the Futures Tour in 2007, with provisional status on the LPGA Tour. She finished tied for 20th at last year's U.S. Women's Open.

Beatriz Recari is a Spanish golfer on the Ladies European Tour for whom I've been hunting more pics for a while. So it was quite nice to discover her Web site recently. As you can probably tell, this image is a screen capture from that site.
Bea had an outstanding junior career that included winning a couple national amateur championships and representing Europe in the Junior Solheim Cup. She earned her LET card at age 18 and made her professional debut last year. Now 20, her best finish so far on the LET is 11th at this year's BMW Ladies Italian Open.

I just posted a note over at Waggle Room about Nikki DiSanto and Eddie Gardino, who hit it off on "Big Break 7." Eddie is the caddie for Angel Cabrera, so he's been in the news a little lately. Nikki told me she enjoyed watching her friend on the telly. See the post here.
But the important thing is this: it's an excuse to post another photo of the gorgeous Nikki.

I think Blair is pretty much focused on her modeling and acting careers these days. I'll see if I can get update ...
Update: That was quick. Here's the scoop from Blair: She is still in the golf game - been spending time in San Francisco working on her game, to get away from the Arizona heat - but because her other career is going so well she's been unable to play any tournaments so far this year. She'll be teaching at a Nike Golf Camp in San Diego next week.
Meanwhile, about that other career: You can catch Blair on "Good Morning America" this Thursday (June 21) modeling for designer Carilyn Vaile. Then she's off to Los Angeles for a photo shoot for the French clothing line Le Coq Sportif.

Golf Babes has been getting a ton of searches lately for Kristie Newton, the Australian beauty and part-time model who is the daughter of Aussie golf great Jack Newton. Kristie plays on the ALPG and LET tours. The surge in searches makes me think she has appeared in a magazine shoot, but I've searched the usual places and come up empty (drop me a tip if you've seen Kristie in any photoshoots lately). I did, however, find this great action shot of her at the very good Aussie golf site iseekgolf.com. (Photo by Anthony Powter)
Kristie's in a couple other posts here at Golf Babes, too.

You recognize the name "Sadekar," right? Golf Babes' friend Nisha Sadekar has been featured here before. Seema is Nisha's little sister ("hot" must run in that family).
Seema has been playing collegiately at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and just recently turned professional. Seema was an all-conference selection last year and team captain and MVP this year. She'll be playing on the Canadian Women's Tour over the balance of 2007, but she has also joined her sister's company Play Golf Designs in Las Vegas. That means if your company is meeting in Las Vegas - or even if you're just heading to Vegas on your own - you can play golf with Seema. Pretty good reason to visit Vegas, eh?
You can visit the Play Golf Designs Web site for more info about the company's services. And keep an eye on that site, by the way. Nisha is in the process of getting a new site up and running. I've seen the new version and in addition to being an eye-catching site in its own right, it also features plenty of great new photos of the PGD staff professionals.
